Event Designed to Help UNLV Faculty Identify and Pursue ARRA Funding Opportunities

The Division of Research and Graduate Studies recently held a workshop to assist faculty as they pursue funding available through the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA).

The event, held Friday, April 17, was designed to help organize campus teams and proposals.

After an introductory presentation, group leaders in 12 areas held breakout sessions in which researchers discussed proposal ideas and formed research teams. The areas were renewable energy; infrastructure (buildings, labs, renovations); water/climate change; arts and humanities; health; education; engineering and transportation; public lands; public administration/criminal justice; law/justice; genomics/biomedical; and workforce training.
