Welcome to the Office of Research Compliance (ORC)
at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV). UNLV is committed
to performing high quality research in an ethical manner and in
compliance with relevant regulations and policies.
The mission of
the ORC is to create and support an environment that promotes the
ethical and responsible conduct of research while assisting researchers
to comply with federal, state, NSHE, and local regulations with
regard to research. Through key committees, related programs, and
administrative activities, the ORC oversees UNLV policies related
to research compliance, including the coordination of policy development
and policy implementation. The ORC also provides support for the
responsible conduct of research.
Key to the mission of the ORC is
educating the campus community about compliance issues. This website
contains information and resources related to compliance at UNLV.
