
The UNLV Research Council serves as an advisory body to the vice president for research and graduate studies to provide review and advice regarding university research policies and procedures developed and implemented through the Office of Research.
The council also plays an integral role in collaborating with the vice president for research and graduate studies to develop a strategic plan and deliverables for university research as well as to identify resource priorities.
Council members serve three-year-staggered terms and shall be appointed by the vice president for research and graduate studies.
