2006 Conference

Creating a Culture of Research Compliance: Challenges & Opportunities

Tuesday and Wednesday, March 7-8, 2006
South Coast Hotel Conference Center
Las Vegas, NV

Sponsored by
University of Nevada, Las Vegas Division of Research and Graduate Studies Research Services and Office for the Protection of Research Subjects
with
The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS), Office for Human Research Protections (OHRP)

Human subject researchers and their institutions have a responsibility to protect the privacy, safety, welfare, and rights of human research subjects. Protecting participants' rights and safety can present considerable challenges for researchers and institutions. The two–day conference is an opportunity to gain additional education and information to facilitate better understanding and implementation of human subject research protection applicable to biomedical and social and behavioral science research.
